Hello loves! We’re now officially in June and the weather has finally been warm enough for rompers, skirts, shorts and Summer dresses!

I welcomed June in this chic and feminine romper. I stayed in the warm neutral colors but opted for the pop of black and gold for the belt, watch and sandals.

I hope that you have enjoyed this Summer romper inspiration look! If so, let me know in the comments below! Don’t forget to subscribe and connect with me via Instagram (@AugustRunway).

Hello everybody! Thank you for stopping by and checking out this week’s look: Spring Dress Inspiration.

I had so much fun with this look and location! The dress was so feminine and hit right on the over the shoulder trend, too. Also, this dress is very versatile because of the style and light colors. I personally think it’s perfect for trips to go wine tasting, brunch, and as you can tell by my pictures, picturesque countrysides.

Finding the right accessories to pair with is dress is easy and just as versatile. I opted for a whimsical and fun handbag, gold jewelry and dark blue lace up flats to complete the look.

Hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the look! Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to subscribe!

Alba

Hello everyone! It had been awhile since I arranged a look to be more like an editorial. So for this week’s look, I was inspired by this amazing location to do a fashion editorial in the desert.

I knew that I wanted a red dress for this stunning background so that all the colors could provide a spectacular combination together! Also, I wanted the dress to be mid length because too short would have created an almost festival look (especially with Coachella just ending) and if the length of the dress was too long, it would look to formal for this background. This dress happened to be perfect! It was red, mid length, feminine, in between formal and casual, and edgy with the long slip along the leg and an over the shoulder look. Once I had the dress, I knew that I had to come to this location!

I especially love editorials because this is truly when two of my passions, photography and fashion, intermingle harmoniously. And, there is no limit as to what you can create in this field.

I hope that you have enjoyed this look! I may look calm in the pictures, but I was actually freezing! And, the winds that day were so chilly, but it made for a more “dramatic” effect on my dress. I hope you have enjoyed these pictures along with the location photos that I included in this post.

I also hope that it inspires you to go out and spend time in nature and who knows, even create your own fashion editorial shoot! Let me know in the comments below! Don’t forget to subscribe and connect with me via Instagram (@AugustRunway).

Hello everyone! For this week’s post, I wanted to share with you easy and chic ways to update your style this Spring:  Spring Accessories.

Updating your style doesn’t necessarily mean going out and spending money on shopping because you can easily look (or in my case, raid through) your closet. And, the best way to start is looking through your accessories.

Since we’re in Spring, there will most likely be rain in the weather forecast. Why not let a pretty umbrella be your chic accessory?! So while you’re walking to and from places that you need to be, you can brighten up and add a touch of style to your wardrobe with this unexpected accessory. You might even be tempted to start singing “Umbrella” which I did and then had that song stuck in my head for awhile!

The second accessory that you can add to your Spring style is a handbag! You can keep your wardrobe in an all monochrome look and let the handbag add a pop of color and style!

Have fun this Spring incorporating these easy and chic ways to your style! Let me know in the comments below if you tried them, too.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you have been inspired by these pictures! Don’t forget to subscribe and connect with me via Instagram (@AugustRunway)!

For this week’s outfit, I wanted to inspire you and provide you with a tip on how to style your sleeveless dresses as we are transitioning into Spring.

There are still days where the weather is cold, but the sun is out. In the days when the weather is still balancing between Winter and Spring, the desire to bring out that nice Spring dress can be quickly put aside when the temperature starts dipping back into colder digits.

One easy way to transition your sleeveless or even V-neck dresses is to layer them up with a long sleeve blouse or even turtle neck. It will not only look chic and very trendy, but it will help you stay warm.

Let me know if you try this styling tip in the comments below.

Hope that you have enjoyed this look, the styling tip and pictures! Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget to subscribe!

Hello everyone! As Spring draws near, the anticipation of wearing pastels was unavoidable for me today. I paired this pastel pink skirt with one of my favorite sweaters that has these sewn in, delicate crystals around the neckline and wrists. This skirt is so versatile that can be paired with any top and shoes for an edgy, street style, fun or feminine look. Since we were at a historic Mansion, I decided to go with a feminine look and paired it with my favorite shoes at the moment! I kept my sunnies and bracelet neutral but added a pop of color with my handbag. I hope you enjoy the inspiration as well as the stunning location.

Hello everyone! Prints are always fun to mix up and play around with. When I saw this playful black and white print sweater, I knew I had to wear it out on this sunny, but still somewhat chilly Sunday. I paired this sweater with one of my favorite Rag & Bone jeans that have leather trim all long the outside of the each leg for some subtle edginess. And, since it was a day after Valentine’s Day, I had to throw in a pop of red color with my Kate Spade, “Love” flats and my lipstick. This casual, but playful and subtle edgy look was perfect to spend this Sunday unwinding from the weekend’s celebrations.

XoXo,

Alba
